Nagercoil

Nagercoil is a town in the southernmost Indian state of Tamil Nadu and a municipality and administrative headquarters of Kanyakumari District. The city is situated close to the tip of the Indian peninsula, locked with the Western Ghats on all sides.

The sites at Tamil Nadu is situated at Muppandal, Aralvaimozhi, Poolangulam, Pazhavoor and Karunkulam.

Muppandal is situated 20 km from Nagercoil on the way to Tirunelveli, this place is famous for windmills. This is one of the best windmill sites in India.

Aralvaimozhi is near the Muppandal wind farm. This farm is the largest in Asia and supplies the villagers with electricity for work. It is well known for being the greatest source of wind energy in Asia.

Poolangulam Village in Tirupur District also has wind farms along with Pazhavoor Village in Tirunelveli District and in Karunkulam district.

Nearest airports are Trivandrum International Airport and Madurai Airport. It is well connected by internal roadways.

Nettur

Nettur is a village segment which comes under the jurisdiction of Thalassery municipality, in the state of Kerala, India. It is situated in North Thalassery en route to Kannur via NH 17. The Anjarakandi-Thalassery state Highway passes through Nettur. Nettur is picturesquely nestled between the Kuyyali and Anjarakandi rivers.

Nettur being an ideal site for wind farms has seen the rise of windmills in this region.

The nearest airport is the Cochin International Airport (CIAL) located at Nedumbassery, which is about 33 km from Nettur.

Athiyuthu

Athiyuthu is a village located 17 km(10 Miles) from the center of Ramanathapuram district, Tamil Nadu, India. The nearest city from here is Madurai located at a distance of 130 km north-west.
